How to preserve wine

The wonder of wine never ends. Earlier, I used to be so curious about as to why people are so crazy about preserving the wine. I got the answer that they love the flavor of wine and wants to relive the magic it has stored in the bottle. Nobody is mad in opening the bottle, which is full of aroma, color and flavor or taste in unique sense. So, one who is crazy of purchasing the wine in bulk, surely wishes to preserve  its beauty of aroma, color and flavor. For assisting those obsessed people, there are a lot of companies with aplenty of products for preserving the wine.

As you know, whenever the bottle of the wine is being opened, the process of oxidation starts, which means wine is exposed to oxygen. It flattens the wine, thereby loosing its aroma, flavor, in this regard, these preservation products help you to keep what you want. Wine companies are offering many wine preservation products as well as accessories. Similarly, wine refrigerators, electronic wine breathers and other wine and beer accessories are also there.

If we use  Vacuum pumps, it withdraws air out of the bottle and rubber stopper caps the wine. This method helps preserving the wine for at least 5 days more.  Gas spray system injects inert gas into the bottle, expelling the air. It can keep freshness of wine up to one week. In case of air tight system, it injects inert gas into the bottle, & seals it airtight. It is easy as compared to gas and can preserve the wine for more than a week, Air tight and temperature controlled system is also so good, as it keeps freshness of wine intact for over two weeks! But it costs nearly $ 200.

Instead of purchasing wine preservation products, if you want to store it in your fridge, you can. Generally white wine does not get affected when preserved in fridge, but in case of red wine, one must be careful as the temperature of fridge affect the aroma and color of red wines. Sometimes it tones downs the acidity of such red wine also. So the basic question here is that, one must see as to how long to preserve the wine and how much to pay for.

Argon gas is also so helpful but it costs much. It is 2.35 % heavier that oxygen. Even winelife like products can be good choice, as it may help in wine preservation at home as well as at hotels and restaurants. Winelife is easier, effective and it is low cost. Reserve is another option you can try. After due consultation with chemical & wine experts, argon is the best option to choose. Pure argon gas simply displaces the oxygen from the oxidation of wine. Some may use carbon dioxide, nitrogen-blend which is the favorite one for wine preservation.
